    The report includes extensive technical information on construction and materials, as well as a full structural survey detailing major and minor defects. Advice is included regarding future maintenance as well as a number of additional services.     This form of report is more concise than a building survey, focusing on essentials and any significant defects. The main objective is to advise whether or not to proceed with the purchase. 

    It is particularly suitable for houses, flats or bungalows up to about 125 years old. It includes a valuation and a sum for insurance purposes.
